The most active pickleball club in Liverpool. Started in September 2024, Pickleball Liverpool now runs four sessions a week across different parts of the city, all welcoming to beginners and all with paddles provided.

The Pickle Pool - coached pickleball sessions in Wavertree

Location: Liverpool Tennis Centre, Wavertree Sports Park, Wellington Road, Liverpool, L15 4LE

One of the best places to play pickleball in Liverpool if you want a coached, social session. The Pickle Pool is led by experienced coach Laura and runs three times a week at Liverpool Tennis Centre in Wavertree. Sessions are structured enough to help you improve but relaxed enough to enjoy from day one - all levels welcome, complete beginners included. The venue also hosted a Pickleball UK tournament in July 2025, making it one of the leading pickleball courts in Liverpool and the wider North West.

Pickleball at Anfield Sport & Community Centre

At £5 for 90 minutes with all equipment provided, this is one of the most affordable and accessible places to try pickleball in Liverpool for the first time. LJMU Pickleball Club - pickleball for students in Liverpool

Location: LJMU Sports Building, city centre, Liverpool

Coming in 2026 - new pickleball courts at Brunswick Dock

One to watch. The Padel Club has announced a new waterfront venue at Brunswick Dock with two dedicated indoor pickleball courts, padel courts, a cafe and social space. Subject to planning, it's targeting an early 2026 opening - which would make it the first purpose-built pickleball facility in Liverpool city centre.
