Overview
Privett Park in Gosport offers two dedicated outdoor pickleball courts within a recently redeveloped public sports facility. The site reopened on 23 July 2025 following a significant transformation of what were once neglected courts, now a state-of-the-art facility featuring new surfaces, nets, fencing, four tennis courts and two dedicated pickleball courts. Courts are free to use and accessible via automatic gates from 07:00 - 21:00 during summer months.
On the last Sunday of each month, free introductory clinics run from 10:00 - 12:00, weather permitting, with equipment provided, making it an ideal starting point for those new to the sport.
A Drop-in Play system is also launching soon via the TeamReach app, allowing players to connect with others at the park and organise games with ease.

Pickleball in the Park
Pickleball in the Park is a free, community-driven pickleball initiative based at Privett Park in Gosport, offering open-access courts and weekly drop-in sessions every Wednesday and Saturday. Since launching its first beginner session on 30 July 2025, the initiative has already introduced over 70 players to the sport, with paddles and balls provided for newcomers and players of all ages welcome.
Session Times
Courts are free to use and accessible via automatic gates from 07:00 - 21:00 during summer months. No booking required, just bring comfortable trainers and enthusiasm.
