Tina Lucas

Tina Lucas is a Pickleball England Level 1 Accredited Instructor based in Berkshire, offering coaching for beginner and intermediate players looking to learn, improve and advance their game, both recreationally and competitively. Tina is happy to travel further afield to support players beyond her home base.

Tina's pickleball journey began after hearing friends talk about the game with such passion that curiosity and a serious case of FOMO, led her to a local taster session. She quickly became hooked, and has since become a coach, club member and league player, competing in the UK, Spain and Ireland. Her sporting background is in tennis, where she continues to compete at senior county level and on the ITF Masters Tour, bringing experience as a player, coach and referee to her pickleball coaching.

Following her retirement from nursing and teaching in 2021, Tina's lifelong passion for education, coaching and sport transitioned naturally onto the courts. She believes fun is the foundation of learning and that thread runs through every session she delivers. Tina particularly enjoys working with beginners and improvers of all ages and abilities who are looking to develop their skills and knowledge, whether for social play or competitive ambitions.
