Rachel McCrae

A local from Lancashire, I began my sporting career at Kirkham Grammar School representing them in various sports at regional and national level on the top sporting scholarship.

I later continued my sporting career focusing on my tennis which resulted in me competing in America on both an academic and tennis scholarship. It was here that I discovered pickleball but didn't start competing in it until I was back in the UK in 2025. I've since completed my leaders, Level 1 and Level 2 coaching courses from Pickleball England and am now competing both within the UK and abroad on the RTA circuit and other events in Europe.

I offer coaching for individuals, small groups and larger groups across Lancashire and further afield by arrangement, covering all abilities from complete beginners through to advanced players in both singles and doubles formats. Alongside my regular coaching, I organise semi-regular festivals and tournaments, and work on behalf of Pickleball Escapes and PSO on coaching holidays. Upcoming coaching holidays with Pickleball Escapes are planned for Autumn 2026 and Spring 2027.
