Russell Trayling

Russell Trayling is a Pickleball England Level 2 Coach based in Berkshire, offering professional and passionate coaching for players of all abilities across Berkshire and the surrounding counties. With a coaching philosophy centred on encouragement, development and helping players go beyond their perceived potential, Russell combines technical and tactical knowledge to support decision-making, court positioning and overall strategy, always ensuring fun remains at the heart of every session.

Sessions are engaging and inclusive, designed for beginners and intermediate players alike, with a structured and supportive approach that teaches players to play smarter rather than simply faster. Coaching is available on a one-to-one basis as well as for teams and groups, covering everything from social pickleball improvement through to tournament preparation.

Beyond individual coaching, Russell organises weekly club sessions across Berkshire and leads after-school pickleball groups. He also works as a Coach Educator, delivering Pickleball England courses to those pursuing the coaching pathway in the sport. Russell holds an Enhanced DBS certificate, Level 3 First Aid accreditation and Level 3 Safeguarding certification, ensuring a safe and professional environment for all participants.
