Matthew Skelton

My focus is on growing the Pickleball community both regionally and nationally. I create a safe space and run coaching/drills sessions based on listening to and observing the level of the player with an emphasis on continuous improvement, adapting styles, technique and court awareness.

Alongside Jake, we founded Pukka Pickleball to provide social and competitive sessions, coached matchplay and regular opportunities for group or individual practice. I am DBS Enhanced, Safeguarding and First Aid certified with full Public Liability insurance allowing me to also take Pickleball into schools and introduce the sport to new generations of players and enthusiasts. These sessions can cover entire schools or year groups and concentrate on safety, control, teamwork and most of all enjoyment.
