Alex Rowe

Alex Rowe is a passionate pickleball coach based in Cornwall. A Pickleball England Level 1 Certified Coach, currently working towards his Level 2 qualification, Alex combines technical knowledge, clear communication, and a player-first mindset to help individuals develop confidence, skill, and strategy on court.

A former teacher and university lecturer with a strong background in education, Alex brings a clear, structured, and supportive approach to coaching. His experience in teaching helps him break down complex skills, adapt to different learning styles, and create a positive, encouraging environment for players of all levels.

Alex founded Lands End Pickleball to share his love of the sport and deliver high-quality coaching in one of the UK’s most scenic regions. He works with players from beginner to intermediate (up to 4.0 level), offering tailored training sessions that focus on technique, tactical awareness, and game play development.In addition to regular private and group sessions, Alex also runs coastal coaching retreats, demo events, and observation-based feedback sessions. He is keen to collaborate with pickleball and tennis clubs, schools/colleges, universities, and tourism providers to help grow the sport across Cornwall and beyond.
