The European Pickleball Federation (EPF) is hosting the first European Pickleball Open at Ali Bey Club in Manavgat, near Antalya in Türkiye, from 3 to 8 November. The tournament is powered by the Association of Pickleball Players (APP), which expects players from more than 37 countries.
The week covers singles, men’s, women’s and mixed doubles, a wheelchair event and two junior divisions. Adult age groups run from 18+ to 70+, and skill levels range from 3.0 to OPEN. The OPEN events carry prize money, and the entry fee is €100 per event.
Every event starts with a round robin, followed by a single-elimination bracket, and each player is guaranteed at least four matches. Gold, silver and bronze medals are awarded.
Ali Bey Club is a beachfront resort about 80km from Antalya, with 18 pickleball courts alongside tennis and padel courts. The APP describes it as the world’s largest tennis resort.
The EPF is a not-for-profit based in Luxembourg that brings together national pickleball bodies across Europe. It announced an expanded partnership with the APP on 18 June, with the stated aim of creating new pathways for players and raising Europe’s profile in the global game. Entries closed on 9 October, and tournament information is on the EPF website.
