Swindon Pickleball Club

Swindon Pickleball Club is Swindon's go-to community pickleball club, based at Delta Tennis Centre in Westlea, and built around people, inclusivity and the joy of playing together. Run by a small group of dedicated volunteer players who organise sessions, festivals, leagues and events, often planning over a post-match pint, the club has a warm, unpretentious ethos that makes everyone feel welcome from the moment they arrive on court.

The club runs social sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays, attracting up to 60 players on Mondays and up to 40 on Wednesdays, making them some of the best-attended community sessions in the region. Sunday mornings are dedicated to coached training sessions, providing players with structured development alongside the regular social programme. Club equipment is available for anyone new to the sport, and sessions are managed via WhatsApp, with new players asked to email the club to receive a registration form and gain access to the groups.

The club hosts three weekend festivals a year at Delta Tennis Centre, drawing up to 130 players per day and offering a full weekend of competitive and social pickleball with an optional Saturday evening social. Beyond the festivals, Swindon Pickleball has also run two pickleball cruises in association with Swindon Travel Hub, bringing the community together in a rather more unusual setting.

The club is also launching the Wiltshire League, a new team-based competition open to clubs from across Wiltshire, running over five weeks on Sunday afternoons.
