The Pickleball UK Tour returns to the North East for its third event in Sunderland, taking place over two days on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 February 2027 at the Silkworth Leisure Complex, Silkworth Lane, Sunderland, SR3 1PD. Part of the growing Pickleball UK Tour, the event combines competitive play with a welcoming and social atmosphere across 16 courts on an acrylic surface, using Franklin X40 balls.
The event offers Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Singles across a range of age categories and skill levels. Age categories for doubles are 18+ (Open), 50+ and 60+, with three skill levels available: 3.0 (Beginner), 3.5 (Intermediate) and 4.0+ (Advanced). Skill levels may be combined subject to the number of entries to maximise the number of matches for all participants. All matches will be uploaded to DUPR.
The format combines round robin play with a knockout stage for those who qualify, with gold, silver and bronze medals awarded. Every player is guaranteed a minimum of four matches.
There is no registration fee for this event. Entry is £28 per person per event.
